Let me introduce. Me.

That’s my first post ever, and, as I customarily do new things, I don’t know how to start or even the content I should post here.

So, let me introduce you to someone interesting. Me.

I’m 36 years old and too ancient to start blogging, but I can do that, I guess.

I came from Brazil, my lovely homeland, which I miss so much. Even with so many problems we need to face and surpass every day, we do what we need to do every single day with a smiley face.

I’ve moved to Canada to study while my pretty wife works. I’ve gotten enormous amounts of knowledge quickly, producing, designing, and coding projects that I’m proud of.

I’ve been a pianist since I was 10. I’ve always had a preciousness in everything I’m going to do, especially when dealing with moments you can’t do it wrong, like playing at weddings or parties. In these events, the first attempt is the only attempt at all. There is not much space for failures, and when it unfortunately happens, it needs to be well managed.

After working for more than a decade in the finance field, dealing with way too much bureaucracy and other tedious processes, I’ve decided to change my career and have chosen the digital design.

In fact, my first option at the college a few years ago (more years than I want to remember) in Brazil was architecture, so since then, I’ve been thinking about changing. And following this desire to do something with a visual approach, I’ve opted to change to the design area. It fits my forte and my passion for audio-visual production in general.

More than 14 years have passed since I finished my bachelor’s degree in computing science, and now, I’m restarting from scratch, but the future is promising. I’m excited and looking forward to the opportunity to apply the knowledge I’ve gotten in class in my new job, doing UX/UI production, assets and game 3D modelling, web development and other design production.

I’m happy indeed and hopeful for the future to come.
