Let me introduce. Me.

That’s it my first post ever and, as customarily doing new things, I don’t know how to start and even the content I should post here.

So, let me introduce you someone interesting. Me.

I’m 36 years old, a too old to start blogging, but I can do that, I guess.

I came from Brazil, my lovely homeland which I miss so much. Even with so many problems we need to face and surpass every day, we do what we need to do every single day, with a smiley face.

I’ve moved to Canada to study while my pretty wife works. I’ve gotten huge amounts of knowledge in a small period of time, producing, designing and coding projects that I’m really proud of.

I’m a pianist, playing since I was 10 and I’ve always had the perfectionism as the pattern that rules everything I’m going to do, specially when dealing with moments that you can’t do it wrong, like playing in weddings or parties, for instance. In events like these ones the first attempt is the only attempt at all. There is no space for failure and even the failure, when it unfortunately happens, needs to be really well managed, if that’s possible.

After working for more than a decade in the finance field, dealing with too much bureaucracy and other boring processes I’ve decided to change my career and have chosen the design area of the IT field.

Actually, my first option at the college a few years ago (more years than I want to remember) in Brazil it was architecture, so since then I’ve been thinking about changing. And following this desire of doing some visual-approach work I’ve opted to change to the design area. It really fits my forte and my passion about audio-visual production in general.

More than 14 years were passed since I’ve finished my bachelor degree in Computing Science and now, I’m restarting from the scratch, but the future is promising and I’m excited looking forward to the opportunity to apply the knowledge I’ve gotten at class in my new job, doing UX/UI production, assets and game 3D modeling, web development and other design production.

I’m really happy and hopeful for the future to come.

That’s a little bit about me.

Catch you guys on the next one.

TON.
